L.A.M.B. FW 13

To be honest, I kind of forgot about L.A.M.B. While I love me some No Doubt and covet some of the ensembles Gwen Stefani puts together, I lost sight of the brand somewhere between the cheesey rasta colored handbags and Harajuku Lovers perfume set. I was surprised to see what Gwen's collection looked like for Fall/Winter 2013. It was more sophisticated than I expected with a whole slew of on point trends... without being overly literal. The checkered long coat looked reminiscent of Gareth Pugh's SS 2007 collection and there were some obvious pieces like the printed wide leg pants, but still...

We got to see:

• camo and python print / army chic
• sophisticated schoolgirl / feminine skirts with a drop waist ruffle
• printed / patterned button downs and pants
• leather details
• colored / matching suiting

I'm impressed! The best part is that the pieces are all super wearable... I might just be putting L.A.M.B. on my wish-list this year.
